National industrial robot shipments increase by 19.1% year-on-year in 2020

From January to December 2020, the operating income of special operation robot manufacturers above designated size was 2.88 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.7%, and the total profit realized was 120 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 42.9%. The operating income of the national service consumer robot manufacturing enterprises above designated size was 10.31 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 31.3%, and the total profit was 70 million yuan (a loss of 1.81 billion yuan in the same period last year).

At present, my country's industrial robot output has the fastest growth rate in the world. Research firm RoboGlobal predicts that the global industrial robot market will rise from USD 45 billion in 2020 to USD 73 billion in 2025. From the perspective of main application areas, automobile manufacturing and electronics manufacturing are still the most important industrial robot industry markets.
